So — you have owned your Ipod shuffle or nano long enough to build an extensive library of music, and would like to learn how to put songs in order on your Ipod. This might seem like a daunting task, but it does not have to be. This is just a good way of keeping your songs organized. Follow the tips below to learn how to do this.
Step 1: Get together with other Ipod-knowledgeable buddies who also own the devices, and research using the Ipod Internet sites for help. A little friendly help never hurt anyone.
Step 2: Create and arrange the playlist as songs play in the order that you entered them. You can transfer this list to your Ipod device by looking for a sync command on the computer window. You can pick the playlists you desire by selecting them on your computer, and then dragging and dropping. This should work, but there is another way if you find that to be unsuccessful.
Step 3: Submit the artist, album name, genre and songs for the playlists you want to transfer to your Ipod device. Hit the tab on top to categorize by genre, album or artist. You can again use the sync command to transfer the songs to your device. They will be arranged alphabetically.
