Step 5: Eat dinner about four to five hours before bedtime. This way, your body digests it before you are asleep.

  • A general rule of thumb for how much water to drink is this: consume half of your pound weight in ounces. For example, a 140-pound woman should have at least 70 ounces of water each day.
  • Soft drinks can be detrimental to diet plans. They have 150 calories and no nutrients.
  • Boredom can lead to overeating, so try to stay busy to avoid this.
