You are working to connect your sprinkler system and have made it to the valve connection process, but you don’t know how to hook your sprinkle systems wire valves? There are simple steps to follow to get the system up and running. Follow the procedure below and you will be able to keep your lawn wet with your sprinkler system and working valves.
Step 1: The valve can be connected like a garden hose to an outdoor faucet. The faucet usually is located outside of the house. It also can be connected to a service line.
Step 2: Be sure to shut off the water supply.
Step 3: Cut a one-inch section out of the service line between the main shut off and the house.
Step 4: Add a compression tee fitting and an extra valve. This will allow the system’s water supply to be independently controlled and will not be connected to the house system.
